Living Tantra 1
A journey of expansion in heart, body and mind.
10th - 17th October 2025
At The EarthSpirit Centre
Led by Bethan Evans & Ed Rooke
Claim your natural gifts, resources & joy of life.
This carefully structured week offers an awakening to all aspects of your natural aliveness, to bring greater richness in your relationships, deeper intimacy and more authentic connection with others.
Living Tantra gives you permission to enjoy pleasure. It also gives you the permission to say 'no'. The workshop invites you to connect with truth and love, to discover and integrate your masculine and feminine selves.
This workshop will bring new experiences, new practices and ideas and a greater clarity of thought to anyone consciously seeing personal growth in this area of the human psyche - sexuality. Allow your spirit to connect with your body, give yourself a truly holistic experience which can set the tone and pace of your future sexual self!
“For me Living Tantra has been a total revelation. It is a beautiful synthesis of personal reflection, healing, development and most importantly integration.”

Embodied
You will be guided through a variety of tools—including meditations, small group explorations, sharing circles, ceremony, and breathwork—to explore your emotional landscape and discover your body’s natural sources of energy.
Wholeness
You will be supported to connect with your feelings and discover a way to be that honours all aspects of yourself including your sensitivity, sensuality, sexuality and innocence.
Sovereignty
At all times we will encourage you to listen deeply to what is right for you, expressing your boundaries and finding your own way so no explorations are ever too much.
Connection
Through your interactions with others in a caring and respectful environment you will discover more about the ways that you love, relate and express. So that you can bring more of yourself into your relationships with ease, delight, playfulness and consciousness.
The benefits you can get from this workshop are:
A sense of ease in your body
Increased self-confidence
Renewed vitality
A way of growing and healing your sexuality
A consciousness and connection with spirit
Learning to communicate your boundaries, desires and needs
Moving towards rich, pleasurable relationships and heart-centred sexual relationships
Experiencing yourself as a vibrantly alive man or woman
Learning that you are strong enough to hold all you feel
Allowing yourself to be tender and vulnerable
Living with passion and love
“Revolutionary! My heart was broken - open. Now the light can shine in and out. Exquisitely facilitated, beautifully held.”

What is Living Tantra?
-
It emphasizes real-life integration—hence the name Living Tantra—bringing these insights and practices into everyday relationships and experiences.
In recent years, alongside Jan, workshops have also been taught by Ed Rooke, Bethan Evans, and Nicola Foster, who each bring their own depth and integrity to the teachings.
The Living Tantra Training offers a powerful opportunity to explore the realms of ecstatic loving, sexual intimacy, and sacred union, supporting you to cultivate healthy, authentic, and deeply satisfying relationships—both with yourself and others.
Because of the nature of this work, a pre-requisite for the Living Tantra Course is the foundational workshop, Living Tantra 1. When you have completed the full 7 days of Living Tantra 1, you can participate in any of the other Living Tantra workshops (LT2, LT3 & LT4) and you can also join the 18 month Living Tantra Training group if you wish. For more about Jan Day & Living Tantra - janday.com
Living Tantra is a series of sexuality and intimacy workshops developed by Jan Day, beginning with Living Tantra 1.
Rooted in principles of conscious relating, embodiment, and emotional awareness, this body of work invites participants into deep personal transformation through the integration of love, sexuality, and spirituality.

During a first career in the helping professions Bethan was drawn to Alexander Technique and later to Shadow Work and Tantra, all of which helped her deal with personal challenges such as bereavement, depression and a sense of not belonging. People appreciate the safety they feel during sessions and workshops, Bethan’s clarity and her ability to ‘meet’ & hold them in all sorts of feeling states.Over time she has trained and practiced as an Alexander Technique teacher, a Shadow Work coach and with renowned relationship expert Jan Day in her School of Being.
She continues to study with Jan Day and with Joanna Watters (“Supporting a radical acceptance of present moment reality”)
“I’d love to put a quote here directly about your’s and Ed’s facilitation. Do you have one?

Believe me, I know what it is like to be stuck, numb and without feeling. And I also know just how empowering it is to find healing, connection and freedom. That is why this work is so important to me.My journey with this work started young; in my early 20’s my emotional blocks led me to be debilitated by a chronic illness. At this age, it seemed like the worst thing; it totally destroyed the life I had. With hindsight, it was the catalyst for transformation into a richness of life I never knew was possible.
As I began to engage on a meditative path, I began to realise that I have a unique sensitivity for tuning into the very subtle on a feeling level. For noticing the places which might otherwise be missed; the lost frozen places within each of us which are ever so faintly crying out for love. And for tuning into the environment and resources that are needed for what has been lost to come home
I have spent many years training extensively with various masters, including Stephen Gilligan and Jan Day, as well as more formal training (Doctorate in Psychology, Cert in Hypnotherapy, etc).My facilitation weaves together aspects of tantra and shadow work to guide people to connect with their natural aliveness and resources, so they can be more fully themselves in all aspects of their life.

What participants say…

Karrie
I have opened up a greater sense in me of love, compassion, self-respect and I’m more alive than I have been in many, many years.

I have complete trust in Bethan’s coaching and I felt relaxed, safe and free to express the fear and grief that I was feeling. ... I experienced being seen, validated and very supported. Bethan brought gentle insight and reflection, followed where I was drawn to go, yet maintained a structure to the session that brought clarity.
-
Bella
My sessions with Bethan proved to be both enlightening and challenging, I felt some results the following day, with a change in both perspective and levels of internal chatter. As I have previous experience of professional self-analysis with psychotherapists I was somewhat amazed. I felt safe to share and be vulnerable through-out, and was gently guided through the whole process. I would thoroughly recommend working with her.
-
Rikk
My biggest fear in booking these sessions was looking into the unknown and fear of what I would find… I actually learned so much about myself and was inspired.
-
Elaine
Bethan is a very down-to-earth, empathetic and nurturing facilitator. ... I also valued her experience and willingness to helpfully push some of my boundaries. ... I really felt enabled to face some dark and scary facets of myself in a controlled, safe and loving way. I would highly recommend Bethan
-
Geraldine
The sessions were fascinating and I learnt so much more about myself ... already I am understanding myself and how I react to things much more clearly. ... Bethan was professional, friendly and created a safe space for us to work. .... If you're reading this and thinking of working with Bethan I would say 'go ahead'. I can highly recommend her.
